Cal Poly Development

Mustang Athletic Fund

The Softball Alumna Hitting Facility is a world-class addition to Janssen Field, giving our Mustangs the opportunity to practice technical skills each day, no matter the weather.

Cal Poly Athletics raised $400,000 to upgrade Janssen Field with a new covered batting cage and an enhanced hitting area. This project allows our Softball Mustangs to have their own hitting facility to improve technical skills any day, rain or shine. The hitting area includes retractable netting for coach and player reconfiguration, depending on which techniques they are focusing on that practice.

The Softball Alumna Hitting Facility could not have been executed without our dedicated supporters. We thank all who contributed to this project.
