Colleen Russell - President
Colleen Russell is a 6th generation San Luis Obispo County native. She is a physical therapist and clinic director at Movement for Life Physical Therapy here in SLO. Colleen started her career in the Cal Poly Athletic Training Room. She completed her undergraduate work at Cal Poly, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology & went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. She is board certified as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and specializes in sports performance. She is a member of the Hearst Cancer Community Board and recently joined the Mustang Stampede Board. She is surrounded by Cal Poly Athlete Alumni with her grandfather (baseball – pitcher), brother (rodeo), and husband (football and track and field). She enjoys attending all Cal Poly sporting events, especially football, baseball, and indoor and beach volleyball. She has been a long time corporate sponsor of Cal Poly athletics and looks forward to being a continued supporter on the Stampede Board. |

Bill Proll - Past President
Bill Proll is a retired Lieutenant and current Reserve Police Officer with the San Luis Obispo Police Department. He grew up in Danville, CA and came to San Luis Obispo to attend Cal Poly, where he earned a degree in Public Administration. Bill's favorite Mustang sport is baseball, and he regularly attends many other sporting events, including football, men's and women's basketball, tennis, volleyball, and wrestling. He has been a long-time member of the Mustang Stampede Club Board, and has been the President since 2016. Bill is also the County Director for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics, and he has served as a board member for the SLO County YMCA. Bill has also assisted the Mustangs with Oktoberfest, the Athletics Fund Drive, and the Mustang Madness Dinner and Auction. |

Warren Blankenburg - Executive Committe Member
Warren Blankenburg is the Loss Prevention Agent at Costco in San Luis Obispo. Previously, he was the Production Manager for The Tribune newspaper in San Luis Obispo, concluding 30 years in the newspaper industry. Warren was born and raised in Arroyo Grande, and is an avid AGHS Eagles fan. Warren joined the Stampede Club Board of Directors in 2008, where he has served as vice president and an Executive member. Warren is a Co-Chair for the Mustang Madness Dinner and Auction, and drives memberships for the Stampede Club, raising money for the Mustang Athletic Fund Drive and other events. Warren’s favorite sports are football, baseball and basketball, while attending many other athletic events as possible. Away from Cal Poly, Warren is also a member of the Santa Maria Elks Lodge. He and his wife, Connie, share their support for Cal Poly Athletics, attending music concerts and traveling.

Linda Minton - Executive Committe Member
Linda Minton had been a bank officer on the Central Coast for over 35 years. She was the Senior VP/Regional Director in lending on the central coast for Mid-State Bank/Rabobank. Born and raised in Hollywood, CA, she came to SLO to attend Cal Poly University where she majored in Finance and Business Administration. She also earned a graduate degree in Commercial Banking with a CFA and CBCA certification at University of Oklahoma.  Her extensive community involvement includes servicing as past president of the SLO Chamber of Commerce and a current executive board member on the SLO Housing Authority Board and the SLO Noor Foundation board. For over 25 years, Linda has been a great Cal Poly supporter and has helped raise thousands of dollars for student athletes over the years. It is noteworthy that Linda was one of the original board members responsible for creating the Mustang Madness Dinner and Auction that is still held today as one of our largest athletic fundraising events. She enjoys attending football, basketball, baseball and other sporting events with her entire family.

Joe Heringes - Executive Committe Member
Long time Arroyo Grande resident Joe Heringes has been on the Stampede Club Board of Directors since 1998. He is a former president of the board serving during the 2001/2002 season. He is currently serving as vice president. Joe has chaired the marketing and game day committees and has served as a member on the nominating and Mustang Madness Dinner and Auction committees. Joe is the Operations Manager for Rugged Radios in Arroyo Grande. He grew up in Orcutt and graduated Cal Poly in 1977, majoring in Journalism. Joe and his wife Kim have been football and men’s basketball season ticket holders since 1995. Now fully involved with Cal Poly Sports, Joe is also a past president of the SLO Morning Kiwanis Club and SLO Children’s Museum.

Pat Sigler - Executive Committee Member
Pat Sigler joined the Stampede Club Board of Directors in 2020 and was a stand-out on the Cal Poly Men's Soccer team, graduating in 2012. Pat lives with his wife Desiray Johnston, a Cal Poly Women's Basketball alum, in San Luis Obispo and works as a Project Manager at Maino Construction Company Inc. Outside of work, Pat coaches the Varsity Boys' Soccer Team at San Luis Obispo High School and enjoys attending as many Cal Poly Athletics events as possible, including soccer, volleyball, football, basketball and baseball games. |

Rollie McCormick - Board Member
Rollie McCormick, MAI is a principal in the firm of Schenberger, Taylor, McCormick, and Jecker, Inc. – Real Estate Appraisers, Consultants, and Investment Analysts. He grew up in Corning, CA and moved to SLO with his family at the age of 10. Rollie attended SLO High School and later lettered in track at Cal Poly, specializing in Long Jump and Sprints. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at Cal Poly. Rollie's favorite Cal Poly sport is baseball, but he also enjoys going to a variety of other sporting events. He has been a long time member of the Mustang Stampede Club Board, and has served as President on the Executive Committee and as the Marketing Committee Chair. Rollie assists with Mustang Madness and other fundraisers. Away from Cal Poly, he is also a member of the SLO Exchange Club since 1989. |

Tim Banducci -Board Member
Tim Banducci is the retired owner of California-West, Inc., a real estate management firm. His son now owns the company. Tim was raised in Bakersfield and moved to San Luis Obispo to attend Cal Poly, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1975. His favorite Cal Poly sports are football, men's basketball, men's soccer and baseball. Tim is a past president and past vice-president of the Mustang Stampede Club Board. He is also a past president of the Five Cities Men's Club. |

Mike Chellsen - Board Member
Mike Chellsen is the owner and General Manager of ESPN Radio 1280/101.7 and K-Jewel 106.5/1400. He grew up in Southern California, and came to Cal Poly in 1984. Mike played basketball for the Mustangs from 1984-87, and he graduated in 1988 with a degree in Business Administration. His wife, Denise, is also a Mustang, having earned her bachelor's degree in Mathematics in 1989, and a master's degree in 1992. Mike regularly attends Cal Poly basketball, football, baseball, and volleyball games. His son David is on the Mustang Football team, playing Offensive Line and Special Teams. He is a 3-time Big Sky All-Academic Team member, and was named to the CoSida Google Academic All American Regional Team in 2018. Mike has been a member of the Mustang Stampede Club Board for over eight years, and has served on the Marketing Committee. Mike has also assisted the Mustangs with Oktoberfest, and the Mustang Madness Dinners and Auctions. Mike is also a member of Rotary Club de Tolosa of San Luis Obispo. |

Sharon Day-Monroe - Board Member
Sharon is a 2008 Cal Poly graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. While attending Cal Poly, Sharon was a member of both the Cal Poly women's track and field and soccer programs from 2003-2008. In 2005 she won the NCAA National Championship in the high jump and holds school records in both the high jump and heptathlon. Sharon was also named the women's soccer Big West freshman of the year in 2003. Upon graduating from Cal Poly she went on to compete professionally in track and field. During her ten-year career, Sharon competed in two Olympic Games in 2008 and 2012 as well as five World Championships for team USA. She holds the American record for the indoor pentathlon. Sharon is also in her second year as the athletic director on the Cal Poly Alumni Association board. Sharon and her husband are big supporters of Cal Poly and enjoy attending all athletic events. |

Denny d'Autremont - Board Member
Denny d'Autremont has been a licensed insurance agent for Guardian Life Insurance in San Luis Obispo for the last 46 years. He grew up in La Crescenta in the Los Angeles area. Denny attended Glendale Junior College and U.C. Irvine before coming to Cal Poly in the fall of 1969 on a basketball scholarship. He was the captain of the 1970-1971 team who qualified for the NCAA post season playoffs. He graduated from Cal Poly in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. His favorite Cal Poly sports are basketball and football. Denny is a past President of the Mustang Stampede Club Board and has been a member since 1973. He has assisted with many of the various fundraising events. He is also past President of the Caballeros de San Luis Obispo, past President of the SLO Riders, and past Captain of the San Luis Obispo Sheriff's Posse. Denny is a 35-year member of the Rotary Club of San Luis Obispo de Tolosa, a 25 year member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks, a longtime member of the Native Sons of the Golden West, and a past board member of the Boy Scouts of America Council. He lives in San Luis Obispo with his wife Nancy, eight children, and 17 grandchildren. |

JÂ Johnson - Board Member
JÂ Johnson is an attorney and J. Johnson Law Office, Inc. is located in Grover Beach. For 12 years prior to becoming an attorney, he was a police officer for the City of Pismo Beach. When J. Johnson was 9 years old, he moved with his family to SLO County. He majored in mathematics at Cal Poly, and later received Master of Public Administration and Juris Doctor degrees from Golden Gate University. His favorite Cal Poly sports are football, basketball, and baseball. J. Johnson has been a member of the Mustang Stampede Club Board for over eight years, and has served the board as vice-president and as president. He supports the Mustang Athletics fundraising programs by participating in every event possible. |

Brooks Wise - Board Member
Brooks Wise has extensive experience in the banking industry, and he is currently the Regional President for Pacific Premier Bank. He grew up in Palos Verdes Estates, and then his older brother introduced him to Cal Poly and football coach Dave Grosz, who offered Brooks a "walk-on" opportunity. Brooks met his wife Katey (Galloway) Wise in the dorms his freshman year and is a Cal Poly alumnus. He played football for the Mustangs from 1977-81. In fact, he was a member of the 1980 Division II National Championship Team. It is no surprise that his favorite sport is football and is the past-chair of the Cal Poly Football Home Team. Brooks has served on the Mustang Stampede Club Board for nearly 25 years, and is a past-president. Additionally, his extensive community involvement includes service on the boards of the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Maria Valley. Brooks has also assisted with the Mustang Madness Dinner and Auction, the Athletics Fund Drive, and the Home Team spring football game & BBQ. |

Rick Brignolo - Board Member
Rick grew up in Napa, CA and moved to San Luis Obispo to attend Cal Poly.  Upon graduating from Cal Poly in 1999 with a degree in Business Administration, he began his career in commercial mortgage banking.  During 2022, he co-founded a new commercial mortgage banking firm, Bandon Capital Advisors. Bandon Capital has four offices in Central and Southern California originating and servicing commercial real estate loans through a network of national institutional lenders. Rick has attended Cal Poly sporting events since the mid '90s and joined the Stampede Club Board of Directors during 2014. He resides in San Luis Obispo and enjoys attending football, basketball, baseball, and beach volleyball on campus with his wife and children.       |

Chris White - Board Member
Chris White is a two-time graduate of Cal Poly, holding a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Kinesiology. A standout athlete, Chris was an All-American football player (2003-06) and also competed in track and field at Cal Poly. After playing professionally in the Canadian Football League and several Arena Football teams, he transitioned into sports performance, working with renowned sports performance expert Dr. Marcus Elliott at P3, where he helped train elite athletes from the MLB, AVP, NBA, and NFL.

Chris then served as a full-time strength and conditioning coach at Cal Poly (2013-17) and LSU (2017-2022), where he worked with top-tier collegiate and professional athletes from leagues such as the WNBA, NBA, NFL, and AVP, among others. Currently, Chris is completing his PhD in Exercise Physiology at LSU, consults for university and professional strength coaches across the nation, and owns and operates Code 8 Performance, where he specializes in athlete development.
