The Al Montna Baseball Hitting Facility is a world-class addition to Baggett Stadium, allowing our Mustangs to improve their technical hitting skills every day, rain or shine.
Cal Poly Athletics raised $300,000 to upgrade Baggett Stadium with a new 6,000-square-foot hitting facility. This project was essential in laying the foundation for Mustang Baseball to compete at the Division I level against other top-notch west coast universities. To prepare for our first-ever hosting of the Regionals for the College World Series in 2014, Cal Poly Baseball invested in a structure to allow batting practice year-round, each student-athlete able to improve their technical skills on a daily basis, no matter the weather.
The Al Montna Hitting Facility could not have been executed without our dedicated supporters. We thank all who contributed to this project.
