The new construction of Doerr Family Field benefits all 550 student athletes and is the primary practice facility of Cal Poly Football, adjacent to the Miller-Capriotti Athletic Complex and steps from the football locker room, sports medicine and academic center.
Cal Poly Athletics raised $4.8M to upgrade the football field to the Doerr Family Field with essential improvements that benefit the entire athletic department. This new field allows for the Football Team to train at its highest potential to compete with other schools in the Big Sky Conference. These enhancements add to the experience as a Mustang student-athlete and give the Football Team an edge in recruiting. The Doerr Family Field could not have been executed without our dedicated Cal Poly parents, alumni and Football supporters.
