The Miller-Capriotti Athletics Complex renovation was a crucial upgrade that enhances the Mustang experience for our Track & Field and Cross-Country student-athletes. This top-notch facility allows our runners, throwers and jumpers to train at the highest caliber.
Cal Poly Athletics raised $1.25M to upgrade the Cal Poly track to the Miller-Capriotti Athletics Complex with essential improvements. Resurfacing the track, among other necessary enhancements, allows Cal Poly’s largest competing team the facility it deserves to train at the highest possible level. The Miller-Capriotti Athletics Complex could not have been executed without our dedicated Track & Field and Cross-Country supporters.

Track & Field and Cross Country alumni and supporters have also come together for other critical campaigns. The Hurdle Crew raised over $11,000 for new hurdles for the Track & Field Program in 2016. In addition, in 2023, generous supporters raised $20,000 for the Carmelo Rios Steeplechase campaign.
